Josephine Gavoyannis
INTERIOR DESIGN & PROJECT SPECIFICATION DIRECTOR
Josephine brings over 25 years of leadership experience from senior Human Resources roles within blue-chip organisations, combined with an extensive background in residential property development, management, and design. Over the past two decades, she has successfully built and overseen a diversified buy-to-let portfolio in Sussex, managing all aspects from acquisition strategy and refurbishment to tenant liaison and professional lettings oversight.
Alongside this, Josephine has more than 20 years’ experience in the holiday-letting sector, having designed, launched, and operated multiple award-winning short-stay properties. Her expertise spans interior design, project specification, and the end-to-end management of guest experiences, consistently delivering high occupancy rates and strong returns.
At Gavi Developments, Josephine leads on interior design direction and project specification, ensuring each scheme is aligned with market demand, end-user expectations, and investment objectives. Her strategic approach and meticulous attention to detail play a key role in shaping developments that combine aesthetic quality, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
PROJECT SUPPORT
Jo Burfitt is an experienced Executive Assistant and project support professional with over 30 years’ experience working with senior leaders across multiple industries. Jo provides tailored project and business support services, helping organisations stay organised, meet deadlines, and deliver results efficiently. Known for her proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex workloads, Jo is a trusted partner who ensures every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
PLANNING CONSULTANT
With over 30 years of expertise as a Planning Consultant and Developer, I have successfully navigated countless planning challenges. My focus is on unlocking the full potential of property and land, ensuring clients achieve maximum value. Combining in-depth knowledge of planning regulations, building controls, and planning law, I offer practical and economical solutions. I provide clear guidance on land use options, oversee the design process, and manage approvals with Local Authorities. Renowned for my expertise in converting commercial properties to residential use under permitted development rights. I offer a seamless “one-stop shop” service for all planning and building requirements. My journey began in private architectural practice, evolving into a successful architectural, property, and design business.
HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Dan is a highly experienced Project Manager offering his expertise through his company Syndicate Group Southern. Dan originally founded DDS Consulting, a leading construction cost management specialists and quantity surveyors. As business grew and his services were needed for both commercial and project management, Dan amalgamated the two together and Syndicate Group Southern was born. As the Head Technical Coach, he helps students analyse deals and work out the best way of maximising development opportunities.
LUC CAPITAL LIMITED
Will has had a career in property since 2007, where he worked as a management accountant at property development and construction companies, and later at Finance Director level. During previous in-house Finance Director roles, Will was involved with developments ranging from basement excavations, extensions and conversions to one-off bespoke mansions for the rich and famous right up to 150+ unit new build sites in London and the Home Counties. At boardroom level he was required to arrange and structure funding for the projects as well as heading up the finance function. Will, through Luc Capital Limited, now focuses on development finance, bridging finance, complex buy to let mortgages and CFO consultancy, through PositiveCFO Ltd, helping a varied client base of property developers and property investors.
ARCHITECT
Mike is a director at SC Architecture, a RIBA-chartered architectural practice specialising in planning applications, building regulations approvals, and both residential and commercial developments. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, functional, and innovative designs that meet both regulatory standards and client aspirations.
After earning his degree in Architectural Technology, Mike gained extensive experience across a diverse range of projects, from large commercial developments to bespoke housing schemes. In 2008, he joined Stephens Cox Associates, where he played a key role in the company’s architectural division, which later evolved into SC Architecture. Now, as director, Mike leads a talented team of architects, ensuring that every project is executed with precision, creativity, and attention to detail. His expertise in planning strategy, building regulations, and project execution allows him to deliver projects that are aesthetically compelling, structurally sound, and fully compliant with industry standards
SC Architecture is a young and vibrant RIBA-chartered practice, originally the architectural wing of Stephens Cox Associates. The firm specialises in both new builds and refurbishments, offering a full suite of architectural services for projects ranging up to £10 million in value. While based in Chandlers Ford near Southampton, the firm operates on projects across England, working with developers, commercial clients, and government bodies.
